Chillin’ with the Frockadvisor Film Crew

Frockadvisor has taken Ireland by storm in the past month. For those of you who are unaware of this brand new app let me explain.

The brainchild of Brendan Courtney and Sonya Lennon. An app that lets you connect with your fashion community. For example, you see an item of clothing that you like, you can post a picture of it, and your retail community will tell you what they have that’s the same or similar. And, if you can’t find a visual, just tell them what you want – those massive heels or that dress with polka dots – and they’ll post you pictures of a match. I have the pleasure of being part of the fantastic film crew and edit current fashion for the online content.

b a w fc pic We recently spent a day on the streets of Dublin trying to find the most stylish couple and interviewed over 20 people who had high hopes of winning “best dressed duo” and becoming the brand new owner of the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha. We scaled the streets for potential candidates and Dublin proved to be up for the challenge. We have a city full of quirky and exceptionally fashionable people. “If you got it flaunt it.” couple

Every member of a film crew can relate to the dreaded battery life of a camera, miscommunication of location and the “I am not sure if my eyes are still open feeling.” However filming is the most rewarding feeling in the world and the finished product is your baby.

Ireland has a lot to offer for the fashion industry and with this fantastic new app, it makes shopping easier and exciting. I am delighted to be part of such a dynamic and talented team, I doubt this is the last you will hear of Frockadvisor.
