Human Rights & Law Internships

There are a number of organisations in Dublin dealing with human rights issues at home and abroad. Human rights watchdogs, humanitarian NGOs, and research bodies focused on specific human rights issues all work in this area in Dublin.

Human rights internships might involve working directly with refugee, or vulnerable women and children beneficiaries. Carrying out in depth research into international human rights issues, or lobbying with a human rights watchdog.

Dublin is the legal centre of Ireland with the Four Courts located on the banks of the river Liffey. There are several law firms and solicitors specializing in criminal, family, and corporate law. A law internship could also give you the opportunity to apply your legal background working with legal aid services, humanitarian law, mediation, and representing immigrants at immigrant resource centers.
