Getting you prepared.
What will you pack? Where will you live? Is your CV as good as it could be? Where can you get the best food in Dublin? You’ll have loads of questions before coming to Dublin. We have answers. We’ll make sure you’re well-prepared and thoroughly excited for your arrival in Ireland.
Getting off to a good start.
“Céad míle fáilte.” (cad meel-a fall-cha). That’s a hundred thousand welcomes in Ireland.
Waiting at the airport is a taxi (yep, we booked one for you) to bring you to your Irish home. We’ll be there to greet you with a cuppa tea and help you get settled in. We’ve even put together a goody bag for you!
Once you’re cozy, we’ll welcome you to our office for an orientation session (with more tea) to make sure you’re prepped for your first days in Dublin.
Support sessions and guidance
We're here for you.
Throughout your stint, we’ll schedule periodic support sessions to make sure everything is going smoothly. This is your chance to tell us all about your experience, whether it’s your epic travels, your internship placement, your job search, or anything you might be having trouble with. We’ll celebrate your success but we’ll also solve any problems you may have as well.
The support sessions aren’t the only time you can approach us though. You can contact us at any time and we’ll see you at any number of Stint Ireland socials and trips!
Reflecting on your experience.
Before you leave Ireland, we’ll have a pre-departure session in which we’ll discuss and provide you resources for reflecting on your experience, how to share your education abroad with your friends, family, and future employers, dealing with reverse culture shock, and your future plans to live abroad.
Tears will be shed and with heartfelt hugs, we shall part until our paths cross again in the future…
Once a Stinter, always a Stinter.
We’ll be here for on-going support. After your stint, you’ll be a part of our Stint Ireland Network, a group of talented individuals. The world awaits your contributions.
