Weekend in Dingle
€50 deposit due to reserve your spot by 23 February. Tentative total trip cost is €250, including all transportation, accommodation, and a few rounds on Stint. This potentially will be lower depending on how many Stinters attend. You will cover your own expenses for food, drinks, and excursions.
We will be capping this trip at 7 people, so first come, first served. We will offer this trip again in summer, if anyone cannot attend in April.
Friday, 17 April
- Depart Heuston Station at 7pm
- Arrive at accommodation around midnight
Saturday, 18 April – Slea Head Tour & Dingle Pub Crawl
- We will not be having an organised breakfast, so please prepare accordingly. You are welcome to use the kitchen in our accommodation.
- Private tour around Slea Head – Depart Dingle at 10am
Dingle Peninsula highlights: Cashel Murphy, Slea Head Beach, Beehive Huts, Dunbeg Fort, Blasket Islands, Dunmore Head, Dunquin Pier, Sleeping Giant, the Three Sisters, and Gallarus Oratory. If we’re lucky, you’ll get to visit/hold a baby lamb! All fees included in price, for except for lunch (location tbd). - Return to accommodation to get ready for the evening!
- Dinner at James Long Pub – 7pm (Cost not included in price)
- Dingle Pub Crawl – First round on Stint
Sunday, 19 April – Dingle Town & Optional Excursions
- We will not be having an organised breakfast, so please prepare accordingly. You are welcome to use the kitchen in our accommodation.
- Spend the day exploring Dingle Town! There are many things to do, but see some suggestions below. All excursions are at an additional expense. Once we get final numbers, I will reach out to determine which excursions you are interested in.
- See Fungie the Dolphin – There are various options for seeing Fungie (kayaking, swimming, sailing!). Prices range from €10-55/person. You must book with us in advance.
- Visit the Dingle Distillery – Tour the artisan distillery, which was founded in 2012 – €15/person
- Grab a scoop of ice cream – Visit Murphy’s, which was founded in Dingle, for a special treat!
- Hike Mount Brandon – This hike is 952m and takes about 4 hours. It requires private transportation to get to (at an additional cost – we can organise this for you). Please note that if you opt for this excursion, you will not have time to do much else with your day. You must book this with us in advance.
- Return to Dublin at 5pm, arrive in Dublin around 9pm
